Leadership Forum Series

A once-a-month session to lead change

In order to ensure a change within your entire organization there is an important leadership role that must be filled throughout the journey, adjusting as the needs of the organization change. The Leadership Forum Series is composed of 12 sessions designed to deal with all of the critical issues involved in transforming an organization from reactive to world-class.

Learn From the Best Practices and Struggles of Others

The Leadership Forums allow us to share our experiences and the experiences of other organizations to help your group benefit on its journey to world-class performance. Improving reliability and driving out defects fundamentally requires a change in the behaviors of all employees. These reactive behaviors are often deeply rooted and perhaps in the past highly rewarded. Changing these behaviors and achieving world-class performance requires superb leadership.

Creating New Types of Heroes

In the reactive mode, there are a lot of natural heroes. They save the day when things go wrong. The challenge for leaders on the journey to world-class performance is to create a new kind of proactive hero. The Leadership Forum series helps the leadership team create the systems and behaviors to inspire these new heroes.

This series is designed to seamlessly integrate into the current defect-elimination efforts from The Manufacturing Game® and Action Teams.

How will you lead the journey to world-class performance?

The Format

Twelve Forums put in place all of the building blocks to launch additional waves of defect elimination and to support a new culture for the new proactive heroes. Site leaders will review progress to date and explore new topics. The topics are designed to drive specific decisions and actions for the site. The forums will create the core competencies needed for this new type of leadership. At the same time these meetings serve as a means to detect and deal with the issues being created by the change effort.
